Cook County Herald [Arlington Heights IL] September 24, 1920
Freeport.-Fire, resulting from a stroke of lightning caused a loss estimated 
at $25,000 on the farm of J. E. Taggart, a state fair official, near here. 
Every building on the farm except the house, together with the contents, was 
destroyed.
