PEKIN DAILY TIMES, PEKIN, ILLINOIS - JULY 19, 1954 MRS. ETTA FINK, 91, OF EMDEN, DIED IN HOSPITAL EMDEN - Mrs. Etta Fink, 91, died at 10:15 a.m. (CST) Saturday in Abraham Lincoln Memorial hospital, Lincoln, where she had been a patient since Tuesday morning when she fell at her home and fractured a hip. Her body was taken to the Hallmann funeral home in Delvavan where funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. (CST) Tuesday, and at 1:30 p.m. (CST) in St. Peter’s Lutheran church, Emden. Officiating will be the Rev. August Brockhaus of Lincoln. Burial will be in Hartsburg Union Cemetery. Mrs. Fink, was born in Germany, May 5, 1863 a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Seide Janssen and is the last survivor of the family of six children. She came to this country 68 years ago and resided in the Hartsburg and Emden communities. She was married to Harm T. Fink in 1898 and the couple celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary in 1938. Her husband preceded her in death in February 1940. Surviving are three sons, John Fink, Hartsburg; Seide Fink and Harm Fink, Emden; three daughters, Mrs. Anna Terviel, Mrs. Tassie Klokkenga and Mrs. Tena Aper, all of Emden; nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Two children died in infancy.
