Peoria Journal Star published - April 7, 1992 Helen Monroe,61, of 2220 W. Krause died at 12:46 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1993, at her home. Born May 5, 1932, in Glasford to Charles and Mary Elizabeth King Glass, she married Minor K. Monroe. She later married Don Jeanguenat on Aug.24, 1949, in Piggott, Ark. He survives. Also survivng are her mother of Pekin; two sons, Randy Monroe of Peoria and Rex Monroe of Mountain Home, Ark.; two daughters, Robin Dalton of Chillicothe and Karen Subatis of Chicago; seven grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren. Her father preceded her in death. She was a waitress and bartender at the Ding's Den and the Judge's Chambers. She was of the Baptist faith. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin. The Rev. Richard Brienen will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Maple Ridge Cemetery in Maple Ridge.
