He was married to Mrs. Mary Allard to whom two children were born. Mrs. Bailey who lives in Missouri and Thomas, Jr., who lives in Hopedale. His wife died some two years ago. His mother, two sisters and one brother survive. Mr. Kemper has been for some years subject to epileptic fits so that about a year ago it was deemed expedient to take him to the asylum at Jacksonville. He has apparently been in good health and his death was a surprise to his friends. He was a member of the Christian church. The body arrived here on Tuesday morning and was taken to Dillon where the funeral services were held in the church. The interment was at the Delavan cemetery. Mr. Kemper was for many yuears a farmer living near the Mackinaw southwerst of Dillon. - Tremont Sun.
