FLORA ETHEL TREECE
Flora Ethel Treece, daughter of Willis and Narola Yates Treece was born in 
Union County on May 31, 1897, and passed away Sept.  17, 1976 at the age of 79 
years, three months, and eighteen days. She was preceded in death by her 
parents.
Flora is survived by one brother, Raymond Treece of Cobden; three sisters, 
Mrs. George Earnhart of Anna, Ms. Jewell Watkins and Mrs. Elsie Treece, with 
whom she had made her home for several years in Anna. Also several nieces and 
nephews and other relative's and friends. She attended the Pleasant Ridge 
Baptist Church when health permitted.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday Sept. 19, 1976 at 2:00 p.m. in the 
chapel of Norris and Son Funeral Home with Rev. LaVern Hicks officiating. 
Interment was in the Ebenezer Hall Cemetery.
Norris and Son Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.


Additional Comments:
Flora descends from Joab Treece who was the son of Daniel Treece and Mary 
Carter Pierce. My ancestor is Daniel Treece and Mary Carter. Shirley Treece 
Spurlock of Anna, IL is a descenant of Willis and Narola Yates Treece.
