Marriage Announcement - Martha LUCKEY to D M HEDRICK, Vermilion County, Il Newspaper: Unknown (Vermilion Co., IL), Date: Unknown, 1941 PHOTO: MRS. D. M. HEDRICK POTOMAC- Rep. Hugh M. LUCKEY and Mrs. LUCKEY, Potomac, announce the marriage of their youngest daughter, Martha, to D. M. HEDRICK, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norvel HEDRICK, Penfield. The single ring ceremony was solemnized at the Potomac Methodist parsonage at 4 p.m. Sunday, Mar. 30, 1941, with the Rev. A. L. Honn officiating. Attending the couple were the bride's sister, Miss Mary E. LUCKEY, Potomac, Miss Joan Kamerer, Champaign, and the bridegroom's brother, Robert HEDRICK, Penfield. The bride and matron of honor were attired in ensembles of navy blue prints with navy blue accessories. Joan Kamerer, who acted as ring bearer, wore a costume with a cadet blue skirt, white blouse, and red jerkin. Gardenia corsages were worn by the bride and her attendants. Immediately after the ceremony the couple departed for a wedding trip in the northern part of Illinois. Saturday they returned to their newly-furnished farm home near Penfield. Mrs. HEDRICK was graduated from the Potomac Public Schools in 1933. For five years she was employed at Champaign, but for the last year has resided in Potomac with her parents.
