Marriage Announcement - LaVaughn ALEXANDER & Charles SOLLERS, Vermilion County, Illinois Newspaper: Unknown (Vermilion County, IL), Date: 1940 MRS. CHARLES E. SOLLERS Mrs. Mae BEHIMER, 1503 N. Oak St., announces the marriage of her youngest daughter, LaVaughn Alexander, to Charles SOLLERS, son of Mr. And Mrs. H. O. Sollers of Newman, Ill. The couple plighted their troth in an impressive candlelighted ceremony Thursday, Oct. 17, 1940, at First United Brethren Church in Potomac, Ill., with the Rev. J. O. Neal officiating the double ring ceremony. The bride was attired in olive green with black accessories with bouquet of yellow rosebuds, and the matron of honor, Miss Charles O'NEAL, wore an earth colored ensemble with brown accessories with corsage of yellow and white flowers. Attending the bridegroom as best man was Charles O'NEAL, city. After the nuptials a wedding dinner was served the bridal couple by their attendants. After a wedding trip to Chicago Mr. And Mrs. SOLLERS will be at home to their many friends at 1503 N.
