W. BURKHART Mr. And Mrs. H. E. WHITE, 1417 N. Gilbert St., announce the marriage of their only daughter, Leonore, to Woodworth BURKHART, son of Mr. And Mrs. Henry BURKHART of Armstrong. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Frank H. Kennedy, pastor of Central Christian Church, at home of the bride's parents Sunday morning, June 18, 1939, in the presence of the immediate families and a few close friends. The bride wore a street ensemble of blue with white accessories and a shoulder corsage of gardenias. Mrs. Don BURKHART, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, attended the bride as matron of honor. She was attired in green street ensemble with white accessories and a shoulder corsage of lilies. The bridegroom had his brother, Don BURKHART, as best man. Following the ceremony a family dinner was served at the White residence after which Mr. BURKHART and his bride left on a short wedding trip. Mr. And Mrs. BURKHART will be at home to the many friends at 930 1/2 N. Walnut St. after June 21. Mrs. BURKHART is a graduate of Danville Grade and High Schools and for the past eight years has been a teacher at Cannon School. The bridegroom was graduated from Armstrong Grade and High Schools and attended Normal University at Normal and the University of Illinois School of Music.
