CORA ABERNATHY
	Last rites for Mrs. Cora Abernathy, 90, widow of Probate Judge Clinton 
Abernathy and active in local church and civic work for many years who died Friday 
at her home, 411 Robinson St., will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at St. James Methodist 
Chapel.  The Rev. John W. R. Sumwalt, D.D; pastor, will officiate.  Interment will 
be in Springhill Cemetery, with Edmund & Dickson Funeral Home in charge.  The body 
is at the funeral home where it will remain until 2:30 p.m. Sunday when it will be 
removed to the St. James Chapel.
