Fifteenth Annual Report of the State Bureau of Labor Statistics, 1896
October 14, 1895, Anton Alberto, miner, employed by Kelly Coal Company at their 
No. 2 mine, near Westville, Vermilion county. The deceased was 22 years of age and 
single. While loading coal in his room a piece of roof fell on him, knocking him 
backwards over loose coal, breaking his back, from which he died October 23.
