Obit: Alice Jakway Once Resident here, expires: Miss Alice L. Jakway, 62 until two years ago a resident of Danville at 626 Bryan Avenue died Thursday morning at 6:30 o'clock at the home of her neice, Mrs. Charles Mathis in Williamsport, Ind. with whom she had been making her home, since leaving her home in Danville. Miss Jakway had been a semi-invalid for a great many years having been in poor health practically all her life. The deceased was born in Danville on March 5, 1869. the daughter of George and Amanda Jakway and was one of eight children. Mrs. Eliza Smith of Milford being the only surviving member of the family. Miss Jakway had made her home with a nephew, SI Jakway to whose home the body will be taken when it arrives in this city thursday night or Friday morning. Funeral services will be held from the Jakway home here.
