OBIT: RETURNED TO ROSSVILLE FOR BURIAL SAT. Funeral services were conducted at the Ross Prather Home. Tuesday afternoon for Benjamin Terhune Cooper, 49, brother of Mrs. Prather. Mr. Cooper, a resident of Waukegan, died Saturday August 12, 1939 at Cassville, Wisconsin following a two day illness. Death was attributed to internal hemorrhages. He was born April 5, 1890 near Cheneyville, Illinois. Mr. Cooper had been employed as service man for the American Can company twenty years and was servicing machinery at Cassville at the time he was stricken. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Margaret Cooper; his mother, Mrs. Beth Martin of Danville; his father, Samuel D. Cooper of Rossville and his sister, Mrs. Prather of Rossville. Rev. Paul D. Magnuson, pastor of the Christian church was in charge of the services held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday.
