Fifteenth Annual Report of the State Bureau of Labor Statistics, 1896
October 23, 1895, Joseph Davidson, aged 45 years, a miner, employed by D. P. 
Wilson at Grape Creek mine No. 4. He had been at work half an hour the morning of 
the accident; it occurred at the face of the fourth west entry, where a large 
piece of roof fell on him, killing him instantly. He left a widow and three 
children.
