Obituary of Ethel Mae Webb Cornwell Heaton BARTON, Vermilion County, Illinois This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by: Cindy McCachern Obituary of Ethel Mae Webb Cornwell Heaton Barton Monday, 16 June 1980, Commercial News-Danville, IL Georgetown, Ill.--Mrs. Ethel Mae Heaton Barton, 88, of Georgetown Route 1, died at 8 a.m. Sunday (June 18, 1980) at the Americana Healthcare Center in Danville. She had been ill several months. She was employed for 15 years with the Fred W. Amend Co. in Danville. She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Georgetown, but in recent years, she had attended the Frist Church of Christ in Georgetown. Born Aug. 2, 1891 in Glasgow, Ky., she was the daughter of John and Catherine Hannah Webb. She was married to Charles Cornwell, who preceded her in death. She then married Allen Heaton, who also preceded her in death. After his death, she was married to Willis Barton, who also preceded her in death. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Walter (Lela) Morris, Mrs. Raymond (Mildred) Hamm and Mrs. Walter (Juanita) Elam, all of Georgetown; three sons, Orval Heaton of Westville, John C. Heaton of Sierra Vista, Ariz., and Allen Dale Heaton of Danville; a niece, Mrs. Buddie (Kathryn) Milewski of Danville; 22 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great- grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the First Church of Christ, with Bill Pullin and the Rev. Gerald R. Weaver officiating. Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7-9 tonight and from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Houghton Funeral Home.
