OBIT: FRANK MARRS DIES AFTER WEEKS OF ILLINOIS Fran Marrs, for many years employed at the Rossville Grain consequently well known in the vicinity, died at his home on East Attica street at 11:50 p.m. Sunday, December 4, 1938. Death was attributed to Cerebral Thromboisis following an attach while at his work last Monday afternoon. Mr Marrs was born on a farm in Edgar County, December 5, 1874 and passed away the day before his 64th birthday. He was the son of William and Frances Tanner Marrs. On December 7, 1903 he was united in marriage to Nellie Kinney, Danville , and to this union four children were born. Surviving beside the widow are three children, Mrs. Harold Wilkey , Covington, Indiana; Mrs. Harold Moore , St Louis, Missouri and Myron Marrs of Pesotum; a sister Mrs. Bertha Kennedy , Danville and two grandchildren. A daughter, Gladys preceded him in death several years ago. The funeral services were held at 3:00 P. M. Tuesday, December 6th at the Marrs home with the Rev. Paul Magnuson officiating. Pall Bearers were: R. H. Poland, Cecil Green, Irvin Warren, Clarence Morgan., Charles Terrell and Otto Funk. Flowers were in charge of Mes dames Glenn Prillaman, R. H. Poland, Harvey Young, Charles Terrell, Stanley Chandler, Clarence Morgan, W. J. Sims, Horace Chandler and Grover Humphrey.
