OBIT: CUNNIINGHAM RITES WERE HELD FRIDAY H. F. Cunningham, 86 died at the home of his daughter , Mrs. Charles Spies in Chicago, Wednesday , March 2, 1938 at 10:30 a.m. Seriously ill the past three weeks death was due to pneumonia following a paralytic stroke. Humphery F. Cunningham was born in Newell township July 39, 1851, son of John and Elizabeth French Cunningham and spent his entire life in Illinois. He was married to Josephine Campbell October 10, 1877. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Spies of Chicago and Mrs. D. H. Smith of Arlington Heights and one son William R. Cunningham of Umatillia Fla. He was preceded in death by his wife, One son, Perry, three brothers and one sister. Funeral services were held at 2:0 p.m. Friday at the Christian Church with Rev. Harold G. Elsam of Hoopeston conducting the services. The flower attendants were Mrs. Bert Smith, Mrs. Charles Prather, Mrs. Ennis Battershell, Mrs. Minnnie Musk, Mrs. Frank Simmons, Mrs. Frank Marrs and Mrs. Chloe McKinney.
