James Arthur Williams Obit: Hoopeston Chronicle, Vermillion County Monday May 8, 1972 James Arthur Williams , 80, 527 East Lincoln St. died at his home. Born Nov. 11, 1891 in glasgow Ky. He was the son of James and Ella Clark Williams. He maried Edna Ruth Wallace Sept. 11, 1912 in Watseka. She survives. Also surving are one daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Inez) O'Drobinak, one son James, both of Hammond In.; four sisters, Inez Rudy, Pearl Mckinney, Mrs. Elmer (Mabel) Hix, all of Hoopeston, and Mrs. Nell Ridlen Kokomo In. Five Grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted Tues 1 pm at Hamilton Funeral Home with Rev. Ben Anderson officiating. Visitation is tonight Monday , 7-9 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Floral Hill Cem. He was a member of the Hoopeston United Methodist Church. He retired from FMC in 1957 where he was employed for 51 years.
