Myers, one of the oldest printers in Danville, organizer of the Vermilion County Poultry association, and active in the affairs of this city for more than thirty years, died suddenly at his home, 708 North Vermilion street, a little after 12 o'clock Saturday. He was stricken with paralysis during the forenoon and Dr. Steely was summond. The doctor worked with him for several hours but could not save his life. "Mr. Myers was about 55 years old and single. He had made his home for several years with his sister, Mrs. Greenawalt. He set type on the old Commercial for several years, retiring from the business when machines came in use.
