Myers. Miss Bettie May Myers, daughter of the late James W. Myers, died last night at 9:22 o'clock at the residence of her brother, C. E. Myers, 706 north Vermilion street, of consumption, aged 32 years. Miss Myers had been afflicted with catarrh of the throat for over three years, and in January last she was attacked with grippe, which settled on her lungs and ran into consumption. She suffered greatly but patiently, believing to the very last that she would recover, permitting no one to talk to her about death. She was concious {sic} to the very last, recognizing her sister, Mrs. Greenawalt, and her brothers, Frank and C. E. Myers, who were at her bedside. She leaves one sister, Mrs. Ella Greenawalt, and three brothers, Frank P. and C. E. Myers of this city and Ben. S. Myers of Crawfordsville, Ind., besides a large circle of friends and acquaintances to mourn her loss. She was born in this city in 1858, and has resided here ever since, and she was a most estimable young lady in every sense of the word. The funeral will take place Sunday afternoon at three o'clock, from the Cumberland church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. A. B. Buchanan, thence interment in Springhill cemetery.
