Obit: MARY LUELLA GORDON Mrs. Gordon dies at 68 Mrs. Mary Luella Gordon, 68 a resident of this city since she was three weeks of age died at 1:50 a.m. Monday at her home, 829 Texas Avenue. She was born August 17, 1867 in Tippecanoe County In. a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Buck. Her marriage to Samuel L. Gordon took place July 11, 1894 and they celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary last July. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church. Surviving in addition to the husband are three sons, William, John and Harry, all of this city. Two daughers, Mrs. Daisy Strawser and Mrs. Nellie Huffman also of Danville, 17 granchildren and one great grand daughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters , a son, five sisters and one brother. The body will remain at Berhalter Funeral Home until services to be held at 2:30 p.m. wed. at Free Methodist Church. The Rev. Roland Green, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in the Atherton Cemetery. This obit has no date on it.
