OBIT: HOLD SERVICES TUESDAY FOR R.G. HUGES Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the United Brethern church for Richmond Gilbert Hughes, 75 , who passed away at his home 206 Maple Street at 7:15 p.m. Sunday , October 22, 1939 following an extended illness. Rev. A. H. Flagge, pastor of the Methodist church, conducted the services. A quartete composed of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Yeazel, Mrs. Elmer Peterson and W. E. Roberts sang "Going Down The Valley" and :Beautiful Isle of Somewhere." Mrs. W. H. Beckley sang "Safe In The Arms Of Jesus." Pallbearers were grandsons and flower girls were granddaughters. Burial was in the Miller cemetery. The Obituary is published on page four. CARDS OF THANKS We wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to our many friends who were so kind to us during our recent bereavement, for the beautiful floral offerings, cards , singers, and those who assisted at the house.
