EX-MERCHANT OF ROSSVILLE DIES BURIED IN IND. Russell Moore, 49, died at the home of his sister, Mrs. John Lichlyter, 310 Stewart Street, at 10 p.m. Thursday September 22, 1938. Death was due to cancer of the liver following a five months illness. Russell Henry Moore was born in Farmer, Kentucky August 5, 1889 son of John and Eliza Moore. He came to Illinois when hew was 16 years of age and has since resided in this community. He was married to Faye Cameron of Galesburg who preceded him in death several years ago. Surviving are one son Eugene of Danville; one brother, Arthur of Mr. Vernon , Ohio, four sisters, Miss Margaret Moore , Mrs. J. M. Brain , and Mrs. John Lichlyter, of Rossville, and Mrs. Julius Pernett of Oakland, Ca. Mr. Moore was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church at Muncie. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the John Lichlyter home. Rev. Dell Caldwell , Pastor of the Missionary Baptist Church at Georgetown officiated.
