obit: Robert E. Williams Robert E. Williams , 76, of Potomac, died at 4:10AM Saturday, Dec. 28 1996 , at St Vincent's hospital in Indianapolis, In. Born June 26, 1920, at Hoopeston, Il. he was the son of Eddie E. and Lucy m. Smith Williams. He married Lily A. Johnson on July 5, 1945, at Watseka, Il. she preceeded him in death on Jan. 21, 1988. He then married Juanita Hedgecock on July 30, 1988 at Las Vegas, NV. She survives. also surviving are seven children : stephanie Ferugson of Thousand Oaks, Ca. Debbie (Bill) Rood of Simi Valley Ca., Vincent Williams of Simi Valley, Ca. , Jackie (wiley) clark of Castaic, Ca. thonda White of Simi Valley, Ca. , Stewart (Diane) Williams of Riverside, Ca and Pamela (rob) Ponzi of Tucson, Arz.; seven grandchildren; three sisters; Lenore Sheffield of Hoopeston, Helen (William) Briscoe of Milford, Betty Marcinko of Cayuga, In and one brother Eddie (helen) Williams of Cypress, Ca. Mr. Williams worked as a prceision inspector for NorthropGrumman Company, retiring in 1991. He was a Veteran of World War II having served in the US Army Air Corp in Frnac and England. He was a member of the Amercian Legion. He enjoyed working with computers and reading. He was also responsible for painting some of the wall murals at the Lorraine Theater in Hoopeston. Memorial services for Mr. Williams were held at 2:00 PN, Sunday Dec. 19, 1996, at the Brown Alkire Funeral Home in Hoopeston with Rev. Phil Yakey officiating. There was no visitation.
