OBIT: PASSES AWAY THURSDAY AFTER LONG ILLNESS; BURIED SAT. Mrs. Sarah Ann Wallen, sife of Frank Wallen died at her home Thursday afternoon September 3, 1936 at 4:30 o'clock following a seven weeks illness. Death was due to complications. Mrs. Wallen was born May 4, 1867 in Blount Township daughter of Mathew and nancy Dodson Lockhart. Her marriage to Mr. Wallen occurred at Danville March 4, 1886. They observed their fiftieth wedding anniversary this year. Surviving with the husband are the following children: Fred Wallen, Humbolt, Kansas, Mrs. Nellie Reynolds, Hoopeston, Mrs. Opal Unger, Thomas Station, Illinois and Miss Netie Wallen at home. Mrs. Wallen also leaves seven grandchildren and three sisters; Mrs. Nancy Maskell, Medaryville, Ind. Mrs. Mary O. Toole, of Hillary Illinois. Mrs. Judy Reeder of Gary , Ind. and one brother John Lockhart of Williamsport, Ind. Funeral services were held at the home at 2:30 p.m. Sataurday, the Rev. A. H. Flagge, pastor of the Rossville M. E. Church of which she was member, officiating .
