Tomlinson, 49, of 1029 E. Seminary, died at 7:15 a.m. today (Sept. 11, 1968) in Lake View Memorial one hour after being admitted. She was a life resident of danville and had lived at the Seminary address 30 years. Born Feb. 19, 1919 in Danville, she was a daughter of Elmer F. and Ethel Miller Drake. Her schooling was at Oaklawn and Cannon Grade Schools and Danville High Schoo. She was married Mar. 7, 1935 in Danville to Frank D. Tomlinson, who survives. Also surviving are four sons, Gene, Westville, and John, Danville, and Michael Dean and Scott Lee both at home, and three daughters, Nancy Joan and Christina Ann, both at home and Mrs. Katherine Marie coon of Jacksonville, Fla. Also, her mother, Mrs. Ethel Drake Rouse, Danville; three brothers, Harold Drake of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Glenn Drake of Flint Mich., and Richard Drake, Danville; five sisters, Mrs. Lorene Jackson, Mrs. Anna Louise Ford, Mrs helen DeWitt and Mrs. Dorothy Jane Trinkle, all of Danville, and Mrs. Rosemary Baker of Potomac and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, a brother and her stepfather. Mrs. Tomlinson was a member of St. Patricks's Catholic Church. Her hobbies were gardening, and raising flowers. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Pape Memorial Home. The Rev. Paul Kinder will officiate. Burial will be in Mann's Chapel Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. Friday.
