H. Tucker, of Grape Creek, aged 15 years, married, killed in mine No. 1, of the Brookside Coal Co., by a fall of rock in his He worked with his son, and was engaged in taking up some bottom coal on the far side of his room, when a large side rock fell suddenly, killing him instantly. He knew that the rock was loose, but concluded that it would not fall as soon as it did. He left a widow and two children to mourn his untimely death.
