"GAY PRETENDERS"

   This play was given by the Junior Class on the 13th and 14th of December. It
was directed by their class advisor, Miss Frances Dickson and presented in the
high school auditorium. It was a successful production and helped the Juniors
make the money they needed. The cast of characters was as follows: Richard
Tully, a newly-wed-Waldo Emmerson; Irene, his wife-Martha Lois Stahl; Hiram
Swallow, their Uncle-James Irvin; Mirandy, his wife-Louise Scott; Charley Jones,
a neighbor- Wayne Harper; Susan, his wife-Louise Clatfelter; Rufus, a colored
servant-Floyd Coil; and Deliah, a colored maid-Helen Stone.
