"TUNE IN"

   This operetta was directed by Mr. Charles Handley, the music instructor, and
accompanied by Miss Doris Howell. It was presented the 1st and 2nd of November
at the high school auditorium and was quite a success. Nearly everyone in the
Music Department took part in it. The cast of characters was as follows: Kasper
Kroggins, the codfish king-Joe Bressler; Mrs. Kroggins, his ambitious wife-La
Vaughn Alexander; Jean Kroggins, their daughter-Maxine Anderson; Joe Brown,
owner of Radio Station WTNT-Waldo Emmerson; Jerry Kennedy, advertising manager
of the Kroggins Kippered Kodfish Company-Dale Jameson; A Sister team, Milly,
Tilly, and Billy -Lorraine Hoth, Helen Stone, and Gertrude Scott; "Dynamo" Dave,
production manager at WTNT-Wayne Harper; Mitzi, switchboard operator-Vianna
Ennis; Bob, engineer in charge-Stewart Miller; J. Bottomley-Binks, an
announcer-Robert Mockbee; Archibald Throckmorton-Raymond Clem; Lysander Phipps,
a theatrical producer-Edward Plotner; Chorus of Radio Stars, Engineers,
Continuity Writers, Announcers, Production Men, Gypsies, and Guests.
