   The Home Economics Club of Potomac High School was organized this year with
thirty members. The officers were elected as follows: President—Kathryn Ogle;
Vice-President—LaVaughn Alexander; and Secretary—Elizabeth Lowe. Meetings were
held once a month on Tuesday, at which time a luncheon was served. On Wednesday,
December 20, 1935 a Christmas Party was held at the home of Kathryn Ogle. Each
girl invited a friend, there being about sixty present. Another big event of the
year was the Mother and Daughter Banquet. It was held on April 15, 1936. Sixty
were present. At this time those who had received enough points were initiated
and made members of the club. The members are as follows:

Top Row—Louise Ellen, Betty Crawford, Mary Crawford, Sara Mae Crawford, Dorothy
Clem, Louise Scott, Vianna Ennis, Helen Crawford, Virginia Moreland, Elizabeth
Lowe, Martha Lois Stahl, Clarabelle Clemons, Miss Watts.
Middle Row—Lorraine Hoth, Margaret Evans, Dorothy Kimble, Kathryn Ogle, Lois
Alexander, Gertrude Scott, Helen Ruth Stone, Margaret Taylor, Virginia Powell,
Evelyn Saunders, Mary Darker, Lillis West, Ardith Reeves.
Bottom Row—Thelma Gritton, Marguerite McQueen, Fauntella Yeats, Helen Davis,
Carriebell Spain, Helen Grider, Hattie Spain, Rosalie Bird, Edith Kell, Cora
Baker, Maxine Anderson.
