   This Junior Class has for its President—Helen Ruth Stone;
Vice-President—Waldo Emmerson; Secretary-Treasurer—Louise Scott; and for their
class advisor they elected Miss Dickson. With the help of their most able
advisor they presented a very successful play and entertained the Seniors and
Faculty at a banquet at the Grier-Lincoln Hotel in Danville, which was enjoyed
by all who attended. They gave the play, "The Gay Pretenders," in which every
member of the class had a part. Several members of this class have been active
in Speech and basket ball. The members are as follows:

Top Row—Stuart Miller, Lyle Kinney, Wayne Harper, James Irvin.

Middle Row—Andrew Nixon, Waldo Emmerson, Miss Dickson, Dwain Duncan, Wilbur Cannon.

Bottom Row—Louise Scott, Martha Lois Stahl, Hazel Myers, Helen Ruth Stone,
Fauntella Yeats, Louise Clatfelter. Other Members—Floyd Coil, Wendell Mockbee.
