MARRIAGE Beckner- Taylor The marriage of Miss Eileen Taylor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Taylor and Roy Beckner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Beckner of the Antioch neighborhood was solemnized at high noon , Sunday June 8, 1941. The ceremony took place at the First Church of Christ in Hoopeston with the pastor, the Rev. Kent Dale , reading the single ring service. Attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Marion Beckner, Brother and sister-in-law of the bridegroom. The bride was attired in a street length dress of blue lace with accessories in White . Her flowers were a shoulder corsage of pink roses and blue delphiniums. Her bridesmaid wore a wine silk dress with white accessories and a corsage of pink carnations and blue delphiniums. After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride groom's parents. Mrs. Beckner was graduated from the John Greer High School with the class of 1939. Mr. Beckner attended Rossville High School.
