Marriage: MARRIAGE OF LOCAL COUPLE ANNOUNCED A pretty summer wedding was solemnized at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, 1941 in Louisville, Kentucky when Miss Lyola Johnson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Johnson, became the bride of Private Frederick Kuhne, of Ft. Knox Kentucky son of Mr. and Mrs. William Kuhne of Rossville. The nuptials were read n the Parish of the Fourth Avenue Presbyterian Church, the pastor, the Rev. Charles Welch officiating with the single ring service. Troths were pledged in the presence of the parents of the bride and bridegroom. The bride wore a blue sheer dress with white accessories. Her flowers were a shoulder corsage or gardenias. Mrs. Kuhne is a graduate of the Rossville high school with the class of 1937 and is assistant postmaster at the Rossville Post Office. Mr. Kuhne is also a graduate of the Rossville high school with the class of 1933 and is proprietor of Kuhne's confectionery. He was the first to leave Rossville to serve voluntarily under the Selective Service Training Act. Mr. and Mrs. Kuhne arrived in Rossville Saturday evening , Mr. Kuhne returning to Ft.
