MARRIAGE: SEYMOUR AND NOBLE UNITED IN MARRIAGE In an impressive and simple ceremony at 4:00 p.m. Monday June 20, 1938 Miss Hazel Seymour , daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Seymour became the bride of Lawrence Noble, son of Mrs. L. Noble of Paxton at the country home of the bride's parents near Rankin. The single ring ceremony was read by Rev. L. R. Seymour, Uncle of the bride, in the presence of relatives and a few close friends. The home was beautifully decorated with garden flowers and tapers. To the strains of Mendellshon's wedding March the bride descended the stairs on the arm of her father who gave her in marriage. The bride was attired in ankle length ice blue sheer marquisette over blue satin with white accessories and carried on arm bouquet of white and pink snaps with fever few and pink tulle. She was attended by her cousin Berneice Seymour who wore ankle length dusty pink lace over pink satin with white accessories and carried an arm bouquet of white and pink snaps with delphinium and blue tulle. Mr. Noble was attended by his brother-in-law, Blaine Nusser, Immediately following the nuptials a wedding luncheon was served after which the couple left for a trip south through Kentucky, Tennessee and great Smokies. Mrs. Noble is a graduate of Blackburn College and for the past two years has taught school near Clarence, Illinois. Mr. Noble is manager of the Consumers Grocery at Rankin. Mr and Mrs. Noble will be at home to their friends in their newly furnished home in Paxton.
