Chas. S. Luke is Dead

State Representative Dies at home of Sick Father

Representative Charles S. Luke died suddenly of heart trouble at the home of 
his father, former Postmaster David Luke of Nashville, who is seriously ill 
with pneumonia. His wife was visiting her parents, Dr. and Mrs. H. C. Adderly, 
at Chester, and did not arrive in Nashville until after her husband's death. 
Following admission to the bar in 1896 Luke served two terms as city attorney 
of Nashville, was elected to the legislature in 1902, and re-elected in 1904, 
1906 and 1908.
