Mrs. Mary Catherine Reuter of this city entered rest in her home last Tuesday evening, having reached the age of 78 years and 27 days. Deceased was born at Hoyleton on March 13, 1875, the daughter of Fred and Minnie (Schnake) Buhrman. She was baptized the following month and on April 14, 1889, she was confirmed in her faith by the Reverend Buchmueller. Her marriage to Edward F. Reuter took place on April 6, 1904, at Pilot Knob by the Rev. B.H. Leesman. To this union two sons were born. Her husband preceded her in death on June 7, 1953. Those left to mourn her departure are her two sons, Melvin F. and Zenas F., both of Nashville; two brothers, Henry Buhrman of Nashville and George Buhrman of Madrid, Iowa; two daughters-in- law, Hazel and Loraine Reuter, one sister-in-law, Mrs. Wm. Buhrman; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five nieces; three nephews; other relatives and friends. Funeral services from St. Paul United Church of Christ, with her pastor, the Rev. Raymond Schultz officiating were held Friday afternoon at two o'clock. Mrs. Gladys Beck was the organist and Arthur Schmittler was the soloist. Interment was in the Masonic cemetery with the following serving as casketbearers: Carl, Harold, Paul and Charles Reuter, William Hudspeth and Jerry Jones. Robert N.
