Maggie nee Fancher VanHouten

Maggie VanHouten of 1753 N. 42 Street, East St. Louis died at the age of
72.  She was born in Ashley, Illinois, and has resided in East St. Louis
for 56 years.  She was preceded in death by her husband George VanHouten
who died December 23, 1931.  She is survived by her daughters Mrs. Vesta
Foley, Mrs. Margaret Rees, Mrs. Mabel Gilliat all of East St. Louis and
Mrs. Loies Guignon of Chicago.

Obituary published in East. St. Louis Journal on Jan 21, 1948 page 2.  It
has been modified from the original.
