Fred Everett Bullard was born October 25, 1893 at Johnsonville, Wayne, Illinois 
to Lawrence Dow Bullard and Emma Withrow. 

He can be found in the 1900 and 1910 censuses living with his parents and 
siblings at Indian Prairie, Wayne, Illinois: 
1900: Lurance D Bullard 39, Emma Bullard 37, Harvy E Bullard 15, John L Bullard 
13, Bessie A Bullard 11, Edward Bullard 9, Ferdie E Bullard 6, Virgil F Bullard 
2. 
1910: Lawrence D Bullard 49, Emma Bullard 49, Edd Bullard 19, Fred Bullard 17, 
Virgil Bullard 11, Rhoda Bullard 9, Irene Bullard 6.

Fred farmed his entire life. 

He married Mabel Mae Ostrander on November 27, 1915 at Effingham, Illinois; 
They had 10 children: 
Ruth Vivian (born May 17, 1916 Illinois, married Bernice Cunningham Howe March 
5, 1938 Dixon, KY, died August 18, 2011 Cisne, Wayne, Illinois); 

Glen Everett Bullard (born March 2, 1918 Thompson, Winnebago, IA, married Ferne 
Irene Block November 26, 1938 KY, died August 15, 2002 Effingham, Illinois); 

Helen Marjorie Bullard (born February 16, 1920 at Thompson, Winnebago, IA, died 
May 4, 1921 at same); 

Spencer Ardell Bullard (born 1923 Illinois); 

Victor Laverne Bullard (born February 23, 1924 Wayne, Illinois, married Goldie 
Lucille Combs, died September 25, 2008 Griffith, Lake, Indiana); 

Donald Duane Bullard (born January 18, 1926 Rinard, Wayne, Illinois, married 
Jeanne Elizabeth Clutter January 30, 1946 Vincennes, Indiana, married JoAnn 
Finch September 4, 1959, died April 29, 1975 Meredosia, Morgan, Illinois); 

Laurence Grant Bullard (born June 18, 1928 Rinard, Wayne, Illinois, married 
Wilma Lavaun Bryan July 6, 1950, died October 19, 1974 Effingham, Illinois);

Found in the 1930 census living at Indian Prairie, Wayne, Illinois: Fred E 
Bullard 36, Mable M Bullard 34, Ruth V Bullard 13, Glen E Bullard 12, Ardell S 
Bullard 7, Victor L Bullard 6, Donald D Bullard 4 1/12, Larence G Bullard 1 
10/12. 

Years after Mabel's death, Fred married Mable Brubaker on August 6, 1965. 

Fred Everett Bullard died September 22, 1981 at Salem, Iuka, Marion, Illinois 
and is buried at the Elmwood Cemetery, Flora, Clay, Illinois.

Obituary from News-Record, Flora, Illinois: 
Fred E. Bullard, 87, Iuka, formerly of Rinard, died at 2:50 p.m. on Tuesday at 
Doctor's Nursing Home in Salem. Funeral services for Mr. Bullard will be at 
1:30 p.m. on Friday at the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne with burial in 
Elmwood Cemetery, Flora, Clay, Illinois. 

Mr. Bullard was born on Oct. 25, 1893, in Wayne County to Lawrence and Emma 
(Withrow) Bullard. He first married Mabel Ostrander on Nov. 27, 1915, in 
Effingham. She preceded him in death July 30, 1957. He married Mable Brubaker 
on Aug. 6, 1965. She survives. 

He is survived by his wife: three daughters; four sons; two sisters, Mrs. Rhoda 
Bunnell of Cisne and Mrs. Herchel (Irene) Leach of Belleville; one brother, Ed 
Bullard of Rinard; 27 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife; one infant daughter; 
two sons, Larry and Donald; three brothers, and one sister.
