DORA SANDERS DIES HERE Mrs. Dora SANDERS, 86, a Fairfield resident for many years, died at 8 p.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital. Mrs. SANDERS, the widow of Adlai SANDERS, had been in good health until about two weeks ago, her family said. She became ill and was eventually admitted to the hospital about five days before her death. Graveside Services Graveside services were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Koontz Cemetery south of Fairfield, with Rev. Charles Dampeer officiating. Nales Funeral Home handled the arrangements. Mrs. SANDERS was born in Massilon township in Wayne County on Sept. 18, 1894, the daughter of David and Mary (MCDOWELL) MILLER. In 1914, she was married to Adlai SANDERS. He worked as a carpenter and in factories during his life. He died June 15, 1956. Years ago, Mrs. SANDERS worked at the old Campe's factory in Fairfield. Later she worked at the Wayne City Garment factory, but she hadn't worked for about 30 years. She was of the Baptist faith. The Survivors Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Wanda CROPPER, of Fairfield; and Mrs. Reba KERR, of Ellery; six grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Rosella COOK, of California; Mrs. Thelma MISLER [sic], of San Jose, Calif.; and Mrs. Goldia WILSON, of Armstrong.
