MARICLE born in Carmi, Illinois dies in Flint, Michigan. MARICLE, GEORGE L.-Of Flint, age 81, died Saturday, May 13, 1989 at McLaren General Hospital. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, May 17, 1989 at Swartz Funeral Home. 1225 W. Hill Rd., Rev. RAY R. PHELPS officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Those desiring may make contributions to the First General Baptist Church Memorial Fund. Visitation will begin at 7 PM Monday and from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Tuesday. He was born in Carmi, Illinois, December 2, 1907 and had been a resident of Flint ince 1927, coming from Pontiac. He married LILLIE MINCE on August 12, 1927 in Flint. He attended the First General Baptist Church. He owned and operated GEORGE L. MARICLE Plastering and Building Company for 30 years. Prior to that he was employed at Chevrolet and Fisher Tank Plant for 20 years. For the last 15 years, he was Maintenance Superintendent for Piper Realty. Surviving are; wife, LILLIE; 2 daughters, Mrs. EVELYN BALLENTINE of Flint, LEODA and husband HARRY PASTRAS of Gulf Port, Florida; 2 sons, GORDON and wife ETHEL of Poway, California, HAROLD and wife SUSAN of Grand Blanc; daughter-in-law Mrs. ANGIE MARICLE of Flint; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. LEODA SEGLAR of Peoria, Illinois; 4 brothers, WILBUR, KENNETH, DALE and DOYLE, all of Illinois. Mr. MARICLE was preceded in death by his son ROBERT in 1987, a granddaughter, and a great-grandson. SWARTZ FUNERAL HOME G-1225 W. Hill Rd.
