The Decatur [IL] Daily Review January 22, 1887
Joliet, Ill., Jan. 22.-Another mine accident occurred in Braidwood Thursday 
morning, in which Henderson Edson was literally crushed to a jelly by a 
falling rock. George Allen had his left hip and leg terribly crushed and 
mangled in the same accident.
