E. L. Shaver. The bride, who is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Ruffner, 412 East Orchard street has for the last four years been a telephone operator here with the Central Union Telephone Co. Mr. Hemple, the son of Mrs. Sarah M. Hemple, 1312 North Main street has been employed as a manager of the drapery department of a Joliet store for the past six months. The only attendants were the two sisters of the groom, Miss Vera and Miss Grace Hemple. Mrs. Hemple wore a gown of pearl gray taffeta and silver lace. After the ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the Ruffner home and at 2 o'clock Mr. and Mrs. Hemple left for Joliet where they will live. The guests at the wedding besides the members of the families were Mr. and Mrs. Dick Ruffner, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hunter of Decatur and Mr. and Mrs. Pherigo? of Hallsville.
