Samuel Carter died this morning after being ill. Samuel, born in Mertha South 
Wales, May 27, 1856. Mr. Carter lived in Braceville before coming to Joliet.
He leaves a widow, Annie Carter and children Eben, Thomas, Samuel, Ellen 
Ireson, Gwen McCumber, and Emily Parsons. Burial Oakwood cemetery.
