Mrs. Hanna Howard was called to New Lennox Thursday by the very critically illness of her son, Henry Craven. Two days later, on Saturday, December 12, his death occurred, from an acute attack of diabetes. The funeral services were held the following Monday with burial at Joliet. Henry craven was born in Mt. Sterling May 21, 1880, and died in New Lennox December 12, 1925, after an illness of a week. Mr. Craven was a veteran railroad man, having been employed by the C. & A. railroad for twenty-four years. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by three children, Josephine and James at home and Mrs. Wilma Shear at New Lennox, and by three sisters, Mrs. James Monckton, Mrs. Ralph Buss of Mt. Sterling, Mrs. Frank Wright of Camp Point. A brother, Frank Craven preceded him in death six months ago. Mr. And Mrs. Frank Wright motored up to New Lennox to attend the funeral and were accompanied home by her mother, Mrs. Howard.
