Doris E. Froehner, 84, rural Peotone, died Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at 
Bradley Royale Health Care Center. 

Visitation: 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday 
Funeral:  11 a.m Monday
Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home in Peotone.
Rev. Bill Riegle will officiate.
Burial: Peotone Cemetery. 
Memorials: Immanuel United Church of Christ, where she was a member.

She was a homemaker. 
Born January 5, 1925, in Chicago.
Daughter of Ernest and Esther Neslund Sjo. 
Member of the Peotone American Legion Auxiliary. 
Enjoyed cooking, doing embroidery work, camping in Texas and going to and 
working at auctions.

Surviving: Husband of 64 years, Lloyd A. Froehner of rural Peotone, whom she 
married April 21, 1945, in Peotone; 
1 son and daughter-in-law, Paul and LaVerne Froehner of Peotone; 
1 daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Duane Temme of Peotone; 
1 daughter-in-law, Donna Froehner of Peotone; 
8 grandchildren, Jason, James and John Froehner, Jeff (Nicole) Temme, Brenda 
(Ron) Temme, Deanna (Eric) Greenquist, Heather (Joe) Iwanus, Angela Froehner; 
7 great-grandchildren, Brandon and Brianne Temme, Lyndsey and Anna Greenquist, 
Macy and Nicholas Iwanus, Ayla Froehner; 
2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Anna and Herbert Schumacher of Park Forest, 
Betty and George Druktenis of Tinley Park.

Deceased: 1 son, Ralph L. Froehner in 2008
Her parents and 
3 brothers, Clayton, Clifford and Ralph Sjo.
