Jill M. Pierce Helfrich, 57, of Wilmington, died Tuesday, July 10, 2007.

Visitation and video tribute 2 pm to 8 pm Thursday and 9 am Friday until the 10 
am services at the Reeves Funeral Home, 219 N. Joliet St. (two blocks north of 
Illinois Route 53/Baltimore St.) in Wilmington. 

Revs. David Lagos-Fonseca and Shirley Pulgar-Hughes from the First United 
Methodist Church of Wilmington will officiate.

Burial: Peotone Cemetery, after which all friends and family are invited to a 
luncheon at the First United Methodist Church in Wilmington at 1 p.m. 

Preferred memorials: To 3rd grade class at Booth Central School in her memory.

She taught at Booth Central School in Wilmington for 32 years and also tutored 
in the district. 

Born July 21, 1949, in Pontiac, to Jack and Geraldine Rabe Pierce. 

Graduated from Metamora High School, attended Kankakee Community College and 
Governors State University.

Member of the First United Methodist Church in Wilmington and the Peotone 
American Legion Auxiliary. 

Survivors:  Her parents
            Husband Thomas
            4 children, Samantha, Forrest, Hayley and Cacie 
            2 sisters, Jean (Greg) Oliver and Ginger (Stephen) Saliva, both of 
Peotone
            nieces and nephews, Matthew, Jackie and Bradley Oliver and Eddie, 
John and Andrew Saliva
            2 brothers-in-law, Dick (Jinnie) Helfrich of Ohio and Harry 
(Patricia) Helfrich of Peotone
            1 sister-in-law, Paula Beverage of Maine 
            as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins 
and friends.
