At Silver Cross Hospital, Sunday October 18, 1992. Age 41 years. Survived by his wife, Sally (nee Cascio), one sister, Ms. Judith Merrick of Minnesota, also several nieces and nephews. Born in Bremerhauen, Germany and has lived in Joliet for the past 12 years. He worked as a machinist at R.B.W. Corporation. Preceded in death by his parents Leroy and Barbara Shulenberg and one brother, Roy William Shulenberg. Member of the American Diabetes Assoc. and the Joliet Eastside A.C. Private cremation services were held today. Carlson Funeral Home, Youngs near Cass St. in charge of arrangements. Additional Comments: This is my middle brother. Additional information/corrections: Charles Thomas Johnson was born Charles Thomas SHULENBERG 13 December 1950. His surname was changed for legal reasons in the 1970's. First wife was named Valerie, and he has a daughter with Valerie named Melissa Rae b. about 1979. My surname at the time was VILENDRER (MERRICK-maiden). I only know of one neice and one nephew, but there were 3 first cousins and about 6 second cousins at the time of his death.
