Joseph Lindberg, the 5-year-old son of Emil Lindberg of Joliet, mysteriously 
disappeared. The parents, aided by the police and scores of citizens, searched 
vainly, but finally the police began dragging the creeks and ponds and finally 
in the water works reservoir found the lifeless form. He had rolled unseen 
down the embankment and met death by drowning.
