Juhl gsjuhl@peoplepc.com November 17, 2007, 11:50 pm Reeves Funeral Home; www.meaningfulfunerals.net; 17 November 2007 Obituaries Linda Jo Haga (July 11, 1956 - November 17, 2007) Linda Jo Haga (nee Martin) Age 56 of Wilmington, passed away Saturday November 17, 2007 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet. Born July 11, 1951 in Monticello, Illinois, Linda was a daughter of the late Richard and Betty Taylor-Martin. She obtained her Registered Nurse degree from Saint Joseph College of Nursing in Joliet and was employed for Saint Joseph Medical Center in the OB Post Partum Unit and Embassy Care Center in Wilmington. In her free time, Linda greatly enjoyed crocheting, quilting, stitchery, gardening, fishing and camping. Survivors include her husband of 34 years Edwin; one son David Haga and one daughter Jennifer (David) Crichton, all of Wilmington. Six grandchildren: Megan, Maja, Kilee, David, Halle and Matthew; two brothers: Terry (Bobbie) Martin and Tom (Laura) Martin, both of Wilmington; two sisters: Connie (Skip) Brummel of Joliet and Bonnie (Mike) Elkens of Indiana; brother and sister-in- law Ron and Betty Haga of Dwight; mother-in-law Cecelia of Wilmington and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, father-in-law and one brother-in- law. Visitation will be held on Monday November 19, 2007 from 5:00PM until time of funeral service 8:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 219 North Joliet Street (two blocks North of Illinois Route 53 / Baltimore Street) in Wilmington. Rev. David Lagos-Fonseca and Rev. Shirley Pulgar Hughes from the First United Methodist Church of Wilmington will officiate and a private family interment will follow. Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Linda’s memory to the American Cancer Society, Operation M.O.M.S. Cookies, Inc., NFP or to a charity of the donor’s choice. Funeral services and arrangements are under the direction of Reeves Funeral Home in Wilmington.
