A native of Jersey City, New Jersey he had been a writer resident for several years, coming from Tuckerton, New Jersey. He was a speech pathologist and psychologist for the public school system in West Orange, New Jersey and a veteran of World War II, serving in the US Army. He is survived by his wife, Muriel E. Holloway Funeral Home, Oldsmar. Additional Comments: This was a distant cousin, the son of my maternal Great Aunt, Helen Mary (HARWOOD-maiden) Meissner and her husband, Charles Roesling Meissner. He lived in New Jersey most of his life, but died in Florida, which caused me some confusion when trying to find his records. I believe there was an error in the text of his obituary which SHOULD read: "he had been a winter resident for several years".
