Murphy of Troy, will be held from the late residence, west of Grinton, Tuesday morning at 8:30 o’clock, to St. Patrick’s church, Joliet, at 9:30 o’clock. Burial will be in Mount Olivet. Mrs. Murphy, nee O’Rourke, was born in Ireland. In the years that her husband was the political leader of Troy, she was his counsel, and an able director for the growing family of boys and girls. She leaves four daughters, Mrs. Edward (Elizabeth) Feeley, of Lockport, Teresa, of Seattle, Wash., Mrs. Richard Brady, of Joliet, and Veronica, at home. There are also three boys, P.A., of Joliet, Thomas, of Chicago, and William, supervisor of Troy township. The youngest boy, Paul, former supervisor of Troy, died more than a year ago.
